Interim EAD Expiring. Please advice!

Interim EAD is expiring in August 2006 (temp EAD was given for only 8 months) while my EAD is still pending since sep 2005.
Had to re-schedule AOS interview due to medical reasons. Please advice, if i should re-new my interim EAD before August 06 and when , how ?

same procedure: Infopass+iEAD. You show them your expiring iEAD and ask for another extension and tell them you still dont have your original EAD (I hope i understood your situation correctly).
