If any of you got the IEAD from SJ INS after sept 11th please post your experience. Did they ask additional questions/documents.....? Is the lines are short?

got it on 9/13

I got mine on 9/13. No problems. In fact the number of people there was less.
I went there at 3:00am. But I noticed that people who were coming in at 10:00am were able to get in.
I was out of there by 10:00am.
 
What should we request to get Interim EAD --- please****

I had been to Orange county INS office. They did not talk about issuing EAD. Can you confirm whether they look for Receipt date or No tice date for counting 90 days.??? Please...
 
Where could I find receipt date and notice date?

When I call INS phone number, it tells me on June 22, it received my EAD application. Is it receipt date or notice date?
Please clarify.

Got Interim EAD yesterday

My husband got his Interim EAD card yesterday (09/18) from SJ INS. He got there around 7:15 am and was out by 2:30 pm. No problems at all.

FYI - 90 days calculated from RD.
 
physical EAD card

Hi here,
I submitted my EAD application in March and I haven\'t got my physical card yet. AVM says my case was approved on Sep 03, but I desperately need to get the physical card (evidence) to show my employer (I am going to work as a Teaching Assistant) as fall semester is beginning.

My question is:

How long does it take to get the card after approval? or, can I just go to a local INS, show the filing receipt and get an Interim EAD because 90 days has passed since my EAD application RD and ND.

Th card will come about one month after the approval.

If you need it, you can go local INS and get one.

I got the iEAD card after I hear the approval message from AVM.
