Interim EAD, 90 day rule

Hi,

Do you know if 90 day rule applies to even new EAD applications? Is there anybody who used this rule to get an interim EAD from local office?

My EAD category is c(9) and EAD was applied with I-485 (EB3, India) on June 1st. I have few job opportunities in pending and all contingent on EAD approval-so kind of desperate...

Please post relevant information if you have experience or knowledge in this matter.

Yes....but........

The 90 days rule applies to even new EAD application, but the caveat here is that, you must have I-485 receipt to get the interim EAD or some proof of applying of I-485. If you already got the receipt of I-485, you can get interim EAD after 90 days.
