Interim AP or EAD at Boston

There is a clause in the instructions of EAD (I-765) form that if you have not heard with in the 90 days of the receipt date of your EAD application, you can go to your local center and get interim EAD. My question is, is there anybody who got interim EAD or Interim AP at Boston Office. Just wondering can we get these at Boston office, I have not found Interim AP clause in the AP (I-131) form instructions.

From my recent (November'03) experience, I can tell you that the Boston office will not issue AP.

However a co-employee recently (last week) got a temporary EAD from the same office based on a pending EAD application with VSC (I believe it was pending for over 90 days)

It helps a lot. I talked to the Immigration Officer (Tier 2) today morning and she told me that usually AP takes 60 days and EAD taked 80 days. When I asked why my AP is pending more than 90 days and I have not heard anything she told me that VSC is processing AP for RD 9/11/2003 and you should hear in 2 weeks. The same answer I got 2 weeks back also. I don't understand the officers even don't know the counting or what. On one side she is saying that AP takes 60 days to approve and on the other side she cannot tell me that what is the probelm with my AP which is pending for more than 90 days.
Anyway thanks very much for your quick response. I think, only GOD can help us.
