CIS is anti-immigration. Sounds corny? Yeah, there is a history behind a bunch of anti-immigration bodies all funded or started by one ultra-conservative man. CIS is one of them. These organizations cut their links to their common founder so that it doesnt appear that this is one man' idea; they also artificially pump up their membership so that it appears that they have a large influence. For all the details, just search google with "pro" and "anti" immigration keywords.

Unfortunately CIS is called up for hearings in the house and the congress bases decisions on the data supplied by CIS.

I would take any sample poll from the CIS with several grains of salt.
