I was going through the immigrationwatch site, I was surprised to see how many I-485 got filled in last 3 years and got approved, here is data.
Filled cases approx:
2002-346 thousand
2003-286 thousand
2004-225 thousand
Approved cases approx:
2002-193 thousand
2003-130 thousand
2004-87 thousand
As we know there is a limit of total 140 thousand for all EB category, subdivided in different category and then 7% quota to each country.
Now you can see how much left for each category.
Sure they got more qouta from other areas which never got used, in these EB's category (I don't know how much).
The question is still we have lots of GC quota left , BUT how much for each country which are in retrogression don't know.
This is just my thought.
