Give me a break Faysal!!!

I am glad this is happening to Americans. Americans take a lot for granted including Travel rights. As an asylee and traveling all over the world, I have seen Americans thinking as if they don't deserve to be double-checked or even questioned for security purposes.

We as foreigners and especially asylees get harrased a lot and we just grin and take it. From entering another country who look at your RTD & think you made it at home to the American Immigration who saw your RTD and freaked out as if its from Mars.

We get checked, double checked and then checked again to get a benefit. WHy should someone, be an American, hide from DWI or a marijuana joint they smoked in college? Breaking a law is breaking a law, it don't matter if its now or 10 years ago.

As a LPR, If you have "minor" convictions, you defintely get in trouble so I think this article doesn't apply to most of us. Most of us obey the laws because we have dealt with USCIS and do not want their wrath.

LOl: want: I didn't mean that way. What I meant was that you will become citizen soon...and if you have convictions you better watch out for...It is sad that people can be turned away for minor convictions...but I also share the feeling that citizens should see how it feels to be turned away....

A conviction is a conviction...Minor or Major. If you have been taken by a cop...you should be toast.
