Guys - Has anyone heard of I-140 being revoked (Intent to Revoke Notice) after 2 years of approval and after 14 Months of I-485 application??

INS claims Intent to Revoke 1-40 notice which was returned undeliverable in sept. 02, so they put my I-485 on hold. Both my Lawyer and My company never received it. Address was correct.

My lwayers are working with INS to resend the notice.

I work for the same company and my company has not revoked my I-140. We don't know INS wants to revoke my I-140 as we never received the notice.

It seems like a mistake on the part of INS. I hope you will be ok.
Since you heard something about your case, that makes me the last one from July that never heard from INS. I'm pessimistic on my case since it is apparent that those who wait so long will face some INS obstacle (ex: July16).

Freaked - I strongly suggest that you goonline and type I-140 EAC# and see what you get.

I found the status myself. INS mailed the notice in August to my employer and lawyers to their previous address(Address in I-140 but both moved to a new place). IIO kept telling me everytime I call that I should hear something in 2 weeks and there were no problem.

I didn' move, my employer didn't move and the lawyer didn't move since the start of the process. I have an idea on what is holding my case. The IIO keeps telling me they are waiting for an answer from another INS office. They say they don't know what office. Thats all they can tell.

It would be very interesting to know why they are revoking your I-140. Can you think of any reason in your case?

How is it possible to issue RD/ND when there is no underlying I140 approval notice attached to i485 application. (assuming your case is older than the recent changes in law where one can file 140 and 485 at same time). July16 article is very appropriate and timely. (however, in that case 485 got NOID and no indication of not receiving I140, etc). This looks like a mistake from INS's end.

Let us know your experience in this matter. Hopefully you will be able to sort it out fast.
 
Whats the Intension For .. Why did they touch your I140 .. ?

INS just don't simply revoke the Immigrant Visa Petition until unless its been approved wrongly . Even if its something wrong on I485 , they won't revoke your I140 .

I posted the question yesterday in Murthy Chat but never got a response. My lawyer say it could be a Administrative glitch from INS. As of now we are waiting to for the notice to arrive by mail.
