I applied asylum since I was tortured by guerrilla group back home since I had carried out activities against them in past. My dad owned a business and I had told the guerrillas not to provide with extortion money to them. The guerrillas backed the employees, so guerrillas attacked me. I fled from home country and applied for asylum. The office has sent me a notice for denial saying that I don't apply for asylum criteria based upon (a) race, (b)nationality (c) religion (d) membership in a particular social group (e) political opinion. My question is that what should I do ? I have 16 days to provide with evidence. i don't know what else I need to provide.
