Interesting fact :-
One of my friend got his GC approved a year back. He got his passport stamped and completed the formalities for the plastic card production. A month later his wife got approved, got stamped and received plastic within 2 months. My friend was yet to receive his plastic.
4 months back he went in person to the INS office and learnt that his file was sent to Nebraska (and not VSC) by mistake. The staff promised to correct the lapse. Last week he again asked about the status and was told that if he wants more info he has to contact Congressman. His lawyer thought it wiser to submit fresh application only for the plastic.
Guys, what do you make of this?
