Here are some salient points as far as AOS is concerned.

1. INS budget estimates $807million in the examination fee\'s account funded by applicant fees alone.

2. It also projects $127million in the Immigration Services Capital account.

3. It estimates to process 1.05million naturalization cases and 600k adjustment of status cases.

4. Proposes a voluntary fee of $1000.00 for employment based petitions, which will guarantee a decision of approval, denial or rfe within 15 days.

5. INS expects this could generate $80million in additional revenue. Of this $25million would be used for the expedited service and fraud deterrence. $55million would be used for backlog reduction and infrastructure improvement.

Getting GC in 15 days?

First of all the document is dated March 2000.

What I would be interested to know is had anyone heard of/tried giving a voluntary $1000 to get a decision in 15 days?

This was a proposal in the beginning of the year. I remember reading that proposed action is postponed or something to that effect.
