Does anyone know what are the official closing dates for USCIS for holidays... i looked in the website and not found a thing...

They should be closedon Dec 26 and Jan 2.

BTW when did you send your I-140 to TX.

I just wanted to know about Thanksgiving, but i called them and they said they will be closed only Thursday...

My I-140 was recieved November 14...

How did you find out that they received your application on Nov 14.?
Did you already get the receipt back from Texas?

Hi andy... I actually just got the recipt today... it took them a week... but I paid with my Bank of america checks... in this bank once they clear checks they post them online immidiatly, so i got the SRC# from the back of the check cuz i knew from this forum that they print the SRC# on the back of the check...
