Lawyer replied to RFE on Nov8th by FedEx so they received it on Nov9th. Till yesterday, there was no update.....BUT, today they updated the system and saying...

On December 06, 2002, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 365 and 540 days for us to process this kind of case. However, because preliminary processing was complete before we requested the additional material, the remaining processing time for this stage of your case is approximately 540 days. You will receive a written decision on this case.

1. Look at the disparity in Receipt dates!!!
2. Look at the write up math!!!!

I personally delivered my RFE reply docs to my lawyer on 11/27 and INS got updated on 12/03. Even I see the same message as yours in my case status. That is the usual normal message after any RFE reply recd by INS. Nothing makes sense. So, don't bother to tax your brains !!

RFE replied by my lawyer on 12/02/02(monday) and INS updated their system today. Message says:
