INS LA interview - HELP please

Hi ,

I have 2 questions in regards to eb3 485 interview at INS LA.

1.Does INS takes action/decision on the case during the interview itself or we have to wait even after interview .

2.my case (eb3) , just got transferred to INS Los angeles on sept 1, Do you any idea how much time it might take to get interview call based on your experience

also did you change jobs ...why the interview ? do you think you know the reason ?
 
Yes , unfortunately I had to change job..now do you see it be main problem .....because it is already one yr since I applied for 485
 
if you already have another job..

then you are ok. Ask the lawyer to prepare a 'similar' job classification for you as for the previous job. Keep all your pay stubs, W2s, employment letter for current job etc ready.

How did INS know that you changed your job? Did you inform them?
Do we need to necessarily inform INS if laid off after 6 months after filing 485?
