INS Has not received RFE response

I received an RFE for employer letter on Nov. 1 2000. Sent it to them on Nov 16, 2000. Well sent it to my lawyer on Nov 7, 200 who then sat on it for 10 days. Think they are worse than the INS. For all I know the damn lawyer has not yet mailed it in.

Anyway, now that I have vented. The automated message does not say that the RFE response has been received. I am concerned as someone just posted an approval of his 485 after maling the RFE on Nov. 18.

So whats the normal time for the INS to change the message.

Better try contacting INS during office hours and talk to an Immigration Officer.

I had a similar situation and after continuously trying got through to a human at INS end and was told my RFE had not been received. My lawyer resent(?) it.
