INS Fee for H-1B extension

Hi,

Anyone here can tell me how much I need to pay the INS
for H-1B extension?

I checked the INS website, it says 130+1000, but my friend told
me that 1000$ is needed only if you want INS to speed up.

I'm facing the same issue. My attorney told me that the price was $1130. From docuements online, it seems that $1000 is fast track for other applications, but for H1B extension, it can not be removed. I'm not quite sure about above conclusion. Hope someone else can give more accurate answer.

Yes, the H1-B extension fee is $1130.00

$1000 is not the premium processing fee but its a regular non-immigrant H1-B fee.

But, there are exemptions to this extra $1000.00. See the link below and your employer might have to apply an additional application (if eligible) to get exempted from this $1000.00 fee.
