INS case tracking is now Online

thats really a great effort by INS..

Just tried the site with a case no for which we got the approval 1 month back...(COS for my wife), it shows, your application was "received on so and so date" and its taking between "so and so" days to process ...

looks like it may not be up-to-date at this point...nevertheless, its a great start..

Now I know why INS still didn't start decembers cases, they were implementing a new system.

Great news!

It helps me save about $10-$20 a month and also the pain of redialing a dozen times.
 
What does this mean ?

I just tracked my case and the status is
"On xxxxx processing resumed after receiving finger prints - Non-Ident"
What does Non-Ident mean?

PacBell, Verizon and others had a good profit from our calls to CSC. They will lost a lot of money now. They will lay off more people. :eek:

It may mean 'no match found' in the FBI database. That's my guess.
Anyway, thanks for shring this info. and good that INS is progressing.

Cool !

I checked my status of all my applications approved and pending it exactly shows the text of AVM message with apllication type.

This is really good news !
 
My status indicates:

Fingerprint Processing Complete-Non-Ident

However it is still pending awaiting for background check.

RD 7/31/01.

Lawyer sent an inquiry yesterday.
 
who can program to track all cases?

and get the approval /denial rate and other information.
I checked cases same day with me, so many I90, what's this?
I'm concerned with Plastic Card.
 
Non-Ident

I guess Non-Ident means that there was no match with persons in the FBI or IBIS database.
