I'm almost positive there not gonna be any constructive answer from USCIS, but i placed an inquiry on my case. Do you guys know how long does it take them to repy?

I placed on October 25th, 2006. No response yet.
 
I did the same on November 21st and still waiting.
That was the day when the processing dates have been dramatically updated and I ve got official reason to bother them. My EB I-485 is pending since September 30st 2005 :-(

They told me that I will get an answer in 45 days, so there is still plenty of time.
 
30-60 days

I opened the query on 11th Nov.. when I called back yesterday .. they told me to give them atleast 60 days to reply.
After looking at my previous query replies, it looks that after file date + 30 days they start working on it and then they send same letter...
 
i asked an inquery on Dec. 7th through national service center. They said I should get an answer within 45 days. It seems few people can get a response within 45 days. Did anyone ever get a inquery response?
 
if your case is more than 30 days older than the published processing dates you call the customer service. Be sure to have the A# and case number

we made the inquiry on 10/13/2006 and we received the response on 12/13/2006.

"Type of service requested: Case status-Outside Processing Time

Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter."

I-140 revocked : May 27, 2005 (problem with employer,he sold I-140 for $10,000. left the company May 02, 2005.
NOID received : 06/07/2005
AC-21 sent : 06/25/2005
4 EADs so for
4 FP done (code1,2,3,1) so for
FBI email sent : Jan 13, 2005
FBI email reply : July 09, 2005 (" The FBI completed a name check for (main applicant) on July 1,2003 and for spouse Jan 20, 2004.

I-485 ?????????????

After my/senator's inquery, they decided to transfer my case to local office. This transfer could take more 60 days. :confused:
 
45 days passed - HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 45 days!!!

Well, 45 days ago I contacted customer service regarding my 485 case which is outside of processing time.
I received no response from them by now and called them again today.
Customer service representative collect my information again, told me that they will do inquiry again and give me another ref number !!!!!!! So I have to wait another 45 days and if nothing happend to call them again..
Im frustrated.... :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

same here. Talked to them, gave me another referral. When i asked what's the use of this numbers they told me that after no response to 3rd referral i can do something - maybe WOM? i don't know
 
I got another 6 mo letter (security checks pending), now, on 14DEC06 in response to my inquiry made on 18OCT06 in VSC. My status: "Loosing my hopes".
