Inquiry with FBI for name check

Friends,
Last year in October, I applied for GC in the NIW category. In December, I got a RFE and I replied to it in February at the VSC. I heard from my attorney that the decision is still pending on my I140 because of an inquiry on my name. I did not understand it very well though. Does it mean that things are going to be tough!!. What is this name check stuff? Can it lead to a negative adjudication? Is there any chance?

Do the USCIS do name check for I-140 as well?

Inquiry on name check

I must mention my I140 and I485 were filed concurrently and I already have my EAD card, even though the decision on I140 is still pending.
