Inquiring about case status after the interview

First of all, thank you for reading my post.I had my Citizenship interview 3 months ago and the officer told me that he needs to review my file ( but he has also mentioned that my file looks good) and therefore a decision could not be made on the spot. A month ago I sent an email to USCIS through my myuscis.gov account and I received an answer stating that if final approval is granted,I will be notified by mail about my oath ceremony details.
However, nothing has happened since that email.Do you think it is a good idea to inquire about my case through my Congressman ? I do not see any other way to ask for my case status since I can not pass the automated part when I call the USCIS customer service neither I think it is possible to schedule an Infopass.Your input is much appreciated.

yes, I suggest after 30-60 days you start inquiring through congressman. If it goes beyond 120 days, you are legally eligible to file a lawsuit or just continue waiting (If you don’t want to go that route).
