Inputs on this FBI conversation re FP ...anyone ?

Felt more than a bit nervous while calling up the 304 625 5590 #4
   number. After the serious message " This is the FBI..." a cheerful voice answered
   ME: Hi I wanted to get the status of the fingerprints ?
   FBI : what is the purporse of the fingerprints ?
   ME: US Immigration.
   FBI ( right away) : A # please
   ME: A#
   FBI : they were returned to the INS on 3/20.
   ME: Is that good ? are they ok ?
   FBI: We are not allowed to tell that, ask the INS.
   ME: my wife\'s status please ...
   FBI: A#
   ME: A#
   FBI: these were returned on 3/19 ( same day !).
   ME: Thank you very much.
   FBI: Have a good day!.
   Now the question is: what does " returned to the INS on 3/20 " mean ?

   were the FPS ok ? ( technically ..no ridge breaks , blurs etc )
   when will the INS respond on the AVM to this ?

   BTW FBI open from 8-6 ( i Think ) EST.

I got the same answers from FBI

when I did my FP in Aug 2001 and I have got my 485 approved on Mar\'11 2002. I think u are OK

looks like you\'re ahead in the game... could you let us know what your RD/ND was, and when you received your FP notice, and which service center? thanks!
 
Has to be OK.. or The FBI would have been at your door ..

It means that your results are fine. With the curent situation, if they had found any problems with your FPs , I am sure you would some authority at your doorstep by now.
 
I was not expecting criminal record showing up problems..only

ridge breaks, blurred FP sort of problems
 
I think it\'s FBI policy \'not to reveal\'

any information to the person who gave the finger prints. As somebody mentioned in previous reply, if the found some thing, they will immediately at will be door step.

You will be okay.
 
If you truly want to know the answer to your FP result ... you can ask for your file

from the feds .. I think I heard one of the options on that same Automatic voice message system that offered this choice ! Frankly do you really care !

Its their standard operating procedure.. If something was really bad
trust me you wouldnt be here. So sit back relax and enjoy...
