My mom got her green card this May. But yesterday, she received initial interview letter for her I-485 application. Should she ignore the letter? or she has to attend the interview?
Call USCIS and explain the situation and see what they tell you. You might even want to schedule in Infopass appointment and show them the physical card and the letter as a proof.. I wouldn't simply ignore the letter.
