I heard that if my husband and I file in person all the docs in Boston (I-130, I485, EAD, AP, and so on), the EAD and AP are issued immediately, the same day I apply for them. My question is:
Is it true?
Also, we don't live in MA but in CT. Can we apply in MA?
Thanks.

Where did you hear that? apply in person where? someone was playing a prank on you! there is no "apply in person" and no "immediate AP or EAD", there is no USCIS drive-thru window either! :p

File all documents to the Chicago Lockbox. Period and stop "hearing" things... read things... at www.uscis.gov

Thank you for your suggestion.
Please, check this link. A little dated info, but there is where I read about it.

That particular link has very old information - especially the form fees and possibly some of the form requirements - but at least we know why you thought what you did.

Just make sure that you pull the forms directly from the USCIS site to make sure you have to most recent versions of the forms and the most up to date fee requirements.
