Initial EAD application based on pending asylum case

Hello guys,

Here is my story for my EAD application:
1- application received by USCIS on november 29,2016
I sent it after the 150 days timeframe requested and I already reached the 30 additional days to complete the 180 days.

How long should I wait before receiving the card on the mail? Anybody have any ideas? The wait is very hard.

Since they received application there's no update still stuck on your case was received and I got the receipt online. I tried to send an inquiry but I want to know what can I do to have more information regarding my case in Nebraska.

I'm in same shoe, mine was nov16... waiting is killing, pls how did you check online

With the receipt number you have, go to the uscis website and to the category of my case status enter the number you have as receipt number. It's begin with 3 letters generally. After that you should be able to see your case status.

It keeps saying does not recognise d receipt no, it's so annoying.... can anyone pls help

Sometimes it's happen they don't do update for your receipt online. What is the receipt number date? I mean the date they confirm they received your application? Also, you can call them directly and tell them that you can't track any updates online regarding your case online. Be aware that if you trying to verify for your asylum application online you won't be able to do so, you have to call or go directly to your local asylum office related to your area. But in regard of your apple for employment you should be at this time. Uscis number should be on the receipt.

Thx, I called NJ asylum office n they said there was no update on my ead, my application was received June 10th..... will call again next month.... thx

Cool! But listen if your EAD application has been received since June 10th you definitely should receive your card long time ago but if it's regarding your asylum application form I589 yes I wonder if already you would receive any update.
