Hi,
Will an Infraction Count (for shoplifting) effect GC approval.
I was arested and released immediately after taking finger prints with infraction and asked to go to court to pay the fine $50.
Not to disclose this to my employer, i mentioned NO to all questions pertaining to Crime/arrests.
My case is transferred to Local INS now...
 
Your willful misstatement on the I-485 will cause more problems than the shoplifting charge.

You have put your GC and status in the US at risk to avoid revealing your misconduct to your employer. You need to reveal your misstatement to INS before you are confronted with it. I\'m fairly certain that they already know in any case.
