Information wanted regarding sponsoring my parents for green card

Hello,
I got my green card through my employer about a year back. I am married to a US citizen.

I want to sponsor my parents for a green card.

The question is,

Should I apply for their green card now (while I am still a green card holder)

or

should I wait until I become a US citizen and then apply for their green cards.

Which would be a faster route ?

Any inputs to this would be greatly appreciated !!!

you can only sponsor parents if you are a US citizen. so wait until you become one.

its def better to wait until you become citizen, they will be eligible for an immediate immigrant visa once you are citizen, in the mean while they can visit you on a B1/B2 visa
