information on teachers applying for PERM

Hi All,

Does anybody know if teachers can apply for PERM process?, The School looks like of medium size (about 25 Teachers). If anyone knows, Do schools qualify?
and risks of applying in PERM? Any inputs or suggestions appreciated.
 
I think I read somewhere on this forum that teachers have to have Full State License to qualify under PERM.

Under current system teacher can have provisional / emergency license and if there is a shortage for that occupation he/she can qualify to apply Regular/RIR

but maybe its better to cosult the attorney for more accurate interpretation.
 
My Wife is a Elementary Teacher, we are planning to apply through PERM.
I have been talking to a Lawyer for quite sometime, we are still in the process of gathering information.

My Wife had a Licience before she started Teaching.
Works for a Public School system (about 1000 employees).
No Experience in Teaching just a few months of Voluntary experience.

Still don't know if it is going to work out but willing to take a chance.
