Infopass appt to check if visa is cancelled after B-2 extn denial?

Has anyone tried to contact an immigration officer thru the Infopass appt system and check if the B-2 10 yr visa gets cancelled if one stays after the I-94 date, since they were waiting to hear from USCIS on their status of their extension.

Yes, we went and visited the local office through Infopass. No clear answer

1. She said that if the I-539 gets approved the stay is authorized and no cancellation of B2 visa.

2. Only Dept. of state can cancel the visa. Looks only the POE the decision could be made.

3. If it is denied, she could not say either way.
