InfoPass Appointment

Hello everybody!!!

I had a question about infopass appointment.

I have scheduled an appointment for myself. When I try to schedule for my wife, it says "more appointments cannot be accepted at this time".

Does it mean it is one appointment per family ? Can we just use my appointment date /time to get my wife's passport stamped ?

HI,

I think you have to take separate appointments. I did same thing, two different appointments. ( As they ask personal information like name and DOB ).

Another experience with INFOPASS.( Newark) I was trying on Friday. But got same message that appointments not available. So I called 1800 Number they suggested me to login at midnight. I did that, I got appointment for myself at 2.30 a.m. :) for Feb 9 12.45 p.m.. But could not get appointment for my wife. Yesterday night at around 9 p.m. I could get appointment for my wife for 14 Feb. So I think on Sunday evening they open new reservations .( Two week wait period for Newark)

Different IP is the KEY!!

This is because you must have tried from the same computer. It is your IP that is the problem. To get appointments at the same time for yourself and your spouse, you should book using different computers at the same time. This way I got the same date and time for myself and my wife.

Yes Friday it was giving this problem but till 4:30 PM. At 4:30 they released the slots and that is how I got 2 appts.

As I said above, I got it on Friday 4:30. So definitely it is not on a Sunday only. They may be doing at a particular time or could be totally random.

Different IP address worked!!!

Thanks buddy,

Different machine (IP address) theory worked!!!!

I was able to schedule an appointment for my wife for the same day.

Yes you need to do it on the same day. Infact immediately after the first one, so that you do get the same time too or close to same time.

Info Pass Expereince

Hi,

My appointment was at 12.45 p.m..
1. I was there at 12 p.m. But they asked me come back at 12.30 p.m.
2. At 12.42 p.m. I was at counter. Asked me for approval notice and appointment letter,
3. Asked me to sign on form. And took finger prints.
3. I asked them should I write anything on I-551, Answer was NO.
4. Then I have to wait for 3 hours before token was called.
5. At counter they asked me for I-94, EAD , photo and passport.
6. Asked if any other names used, if the address is same. That;s it. Asked em to wait.
7. It took another 1 hours to get passport stamp.

Hope this helpes.

Do You really need 2 appointments one for you and another for your wife?

Do you really need to take another appointment for your wife? The Infopass message says take an appointment for the whole family. Let me know if anyone went to get their passports stamped with only one Infopass appointment?

Happyperson

Wish you the same!!! :)

Yes got we passport stamped today at Chicago office. We (My wife and myself) had an appointment at 9:10 am. They only accepted people with infopass appointments..

I got a token number. Within 11 minutes our number was called. Submitted 485 notice, I-94, EADs, APs. Officer put a stamp on the passport. Took our finger print (right index finger) and we were out by 9:25 am.

So finally a Permanent Resident!!! :)
