Infopass appointment in Washington District

Hello -

I have been trying to make an appointment with INFOPASS for passport stamping. My district is Washington DC and I tried almost every hour for past a few days. However, it always says that "At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later.":mad:

Does any know or have gotten INFOPASS appointment in Washington District? If you do, please share with me when/how you did it?

This has been discuused many times in this forum. Just type in "Arlington, infopass" in search to see the threads.

However here is the scoop..

It's not that only you have this problem. Almost everybody with this center faced this problem. You need to try in odd hours like early in the morning between 5 am and 7 am OR late night like 12 pm.. Keep trying ..!! You will get it some time..

i kept trying with the options but the message remains the smae that there i sno appointment.
 
Don't give up... Keep trying... I got stamped on 12/8 in Fairfax, after trying for an infopass appt for couple of days. Try between 5:00PM to 6:00PM. I got mine during that time frame. I did some reasearch on this topic and found a lot of responses that agree with the time frame.... I guess the office updates appts availability at the end of the day and if there are any cancellations, you can slide in...
 
Another thing I forgot to mention in my earlier post...

Appts are opened in a 2 week slots. So, if the current 2 week slot is full, then you will not be able to get in, until the next 2 week slot opens up.

Thanks for your advise. I have been trying to make appointment with Fairfax service center. But no matther I tried in daytime or midnight, I always couldn't get it through. Since you mentioned about the two weeks slots, how can I know which date is the day the other empty two week slots will be opened?

Was anyone successful in getting an Infopass appointment for Washington District recently? If so, please let us know whats a good time to try.
 
I tried to get the appointment for Arlington office. But was unsuccesful. So I tried giving richmond zip code and got appointment for Norfolk service center. I got passport stamped last week. Hope this helps.

You can certainly try Norfolk service center if you live in Virginia and can drive to the service center. I think it is a bit easy to get appointment to this service center.
 
Just now my friend tried to take an appointment and he got it for Jan 3rd. Seems like they are still open for that day. If anybody wants to try it, try your luck.

I also got Washington DC appointment in Fairfax around 520pm today after one-week hard try. My appointment is on 3 Jan'05. It's really needs patience.
