Infopass appointment for interview letter ?

My FP was done on 12/28/05 and the online status disappeared on 01/23/06 but as of today I have not received the interview letter.

Based on my spouse's case and all other cases under SF DO jurisdiction, folks seem to be getting their respective interview letter 2-4 days after their online status disappears.

Also, will infopass appointment help in getting any relevant information at all since I read in the other message posted in the forum that infopass appt. won't help much in getting any information about scheduled oath date or oath letter status ?

MY spouse's interview is in the second week of Feb at the Oakland office. If I go along with her at the time of interview, would anyone there be able to get me more information whatsoever if atll ??

Thanks for your feedback..

I would be very impressived or surprised that the interview letter would come so quick, especially you just had your FP on 12/28/05.
there is lot of reasons of the status not shown up online. however, we *think* it is ties to the interview notice would be sending out soon. However, it is just a "general" assumption, and it is for *most* of the cases. however, i have not seen a written document saying it is the case.

I noticed increasingly people are expected to receive the interview notice or oath letter very quick (almost in an unreasonable expectation timeline)

by the way, you said people get their respective interview letter 2-4 days after their online status disappears. Well, your case might be a day extra?

if you are going to schedule an infopass, what are you going to ask?

telling the officer saying.. "hey.. my online status is disappeared, where is my interview letter??"

Unfortunately, you are dead wrong. For most of the cases which I have observed atleast in San Jose and SFO area, **MOST** folks typically receive the interview
appt. letter 3-4 weeks after the online status goes missing after your FP are
taken and your results transferred back to INS. (after getting confirmation from
the FBI number about the status of your FP)

The very simple fact that 5-6 folks whose FP were done 2-3-4 weeks after
you received the letter and not you is sure a reason to check it out. Again, there
is no such way to verify this but atleast this is what we can extrapolate based
on cases in your area.

I guess I waited for 4 weeks to be precise after my online status went missing
and based on the pattern which I have observed, the interview date is typically
6-8 weeks after the interview letter notice date. And so far, all cases for the last 4-6 months, which I have observed have all fallen in the same range. Does it prove
anything ? - I don't think so but gives you some data points based on which you
can expect something and take action if otherwise..

You are absolutely correct that one cannot say that my online status has
disappeared, and .....At the same time, it helps since I am not sure as to what
happenned to the interview notice letter which INS send me but for sure, I haven't
received any so far .. thanks for your help.
