Hi gurus,
I am a frequent visitor of this forum and i would like to share my case details and please let me know your ideas.

I have filed my I-140 NIW in sept 2002 and waiting for its approval till now.

I also filed I-485 and EAD in may 2003 and got my FP done in JULY 2003 and got EAD in July 2003.

Unfortunately i lost my Job where i was working and had to use EAD to work from Jan 2004 till now.

So still my I-140 is pending and everytime i call the 1-800 number and my lawyer send an inquiry they say we will let you know in 3-4 weeks and nothing till today

This has been the case since Nov 2003.

So what could be the reason for the delay will i get RFE if so i should have got it well before can you share some news

I was working as a Post doc at a Synchrotron radiation facility and my work was to design and implement a new IR Beamline and based on this work i have claimed NIW.

That is so weired since TSC already tuoch the the case in Jan,2003. If you found the another job, I think it is ok since you are in the NIW which provide the more flexibility for moving. However if you argued the critical role in your petition, when RFE comes, it will have negative effect.
