I am about to forward my filled in DS 230 form. My lawyer says that my wife who is my dependent need not fill this form separately. But the form says that each member of my family needs to fill it who will be immigrating with me. I would like to know how all of you went about it. Any feedback will be very helpful.

Every applicant regardless of age should fill a seperate DS 230 part 1 form at the Packet 3 stage, and the Part II at the time of
going to the Consulate.

If your question is with regard to submission of the DS 230 form,
no, it does not matter. She needs to fill the form with the
appropriate information.
