info please on 485 and H1

Guys, I am in very bad scenario now. My case got transferred to Hartford, CT where there is no light at the end of the tunnel.....No idea when they will call for interview...also do not know why it was transferred and will they approve my case at all?

Now as a contingency plan I need some advice...If the dependent use EAD to work for some time, can she be qulified for H1B application? That is, lets say she works from june-oct 2005 using the EAD, can she get H1B in Oct?

Second, Can she apply for her I 140/485 with EB1 OR when this AOS is pending ot she needs to abandon this application?

Please help....we are in that kind of situation where nobody want to be even in their worst nightmare.

Typically, once you apply for I-485, you are letting USCIS know that you are intending for an Immigrant status. H1-B is a non-Immigrant status. So, it may be difficult to convince CIS in getting an approval for H1-B...

She can definetely apply for I-140 and I-485, if she can find an employer willing to support her case... In the sense, she can break away from your application... A person can have more than one I-485 pending at the same time...
