I have filed I485 in Vermont. I have seen info about moving to local INS office for interview if you are not living in Vermont INS. Currently i am living in Texas INS area(Nashville). If they move my case, will they transfer my case to Texas INs or schedule an interview in one of local INS centers in Texas.

If VSC knows about your residential address, then transfer to TSC or your nearest local center might be a possibility. However, sometimes the company headquarters is located within the VSC jurisdiction and if the company attorney gave his/her office address as C/O address of the beneficiary (you), VSC might not transfer, too.

Again, definitive prediction is not possible in this regard and the INS has not made public (to the best of my information) the criteria for local transfers.

Best wishes,

Jigesh

Thanks for the info.
My employer is within the VSC and VSC knows my address.
Do you Know any similar cases transfered to TEXAS INS? If they move to TEXAS, Will they ask me to refile it again or how it works? My RD is 07/02. I got EAD and AP from VSC.

Sometimes INS does not transfer if the employer's address is within jurisdiction of a particular service center. However, even if they transfer, you do not need to re-file/re-submit. They will inform you in writing about transfer if it happens.

Best wishes,

Jigesh
