info on receipt is wrong

will call tomorrow and have it fixed. weird, they got a million pages with my name and probably took the one that has a typo. anyway, should i wait to put in for AP? want to put in right now via the web. and will the incorrect name really affect the process?

I would notify USCIS IMMEDIATLY! Yes incorrect names can possible delay processing if you look at all your NOA's they state to notify USCIS of any errors in the inofrmation,
If you receive AP notice , I would still show up at your AP with the NOA notice and any previous NOA receipt notices you received, bring proper ID and maybe that will be enough to continue the process

Hmm..thats odd, on my Recent...everything is correct BUT my Social Secertiy number isn't on there, I put my down on the I-485 and I-130...could this be something I should tell USCIS?

i don't think there is a space for a social, so i guess you shouldn't call. and yes, let's say the last name is "williams." they have it as "wiliams." some person did the documents for me and i guess somewhere in there she typed my last name wrong. will call today. thanks.

so i called yestreday and waited for 30 minutes on hold. then they sent me to another person and that was like 40 minutes on hold. they couldn't find anything and asked me to get the original checks from the bank.

today the bank said they could do that, but gave me a scanned image of the checks. so i clale dimmigration today. anoterh 30 minutes and then 60 minutes for the second person. nothing. i will send letter explaining the issues and send them copies of everything. it could be that the application is just new and still not in the system. and i have to worry about retro issues putting it on hold, but told that i would get ead anyway.

will call them back in a month and send the letter. wil also be checking on their case status search engine. have nay of you bene in this sort of situation?
