info needed: got walk-in AP recently in Newark, NJ?

Due to emergent reason, I need an walk-in AP in Newark, NJ, does any one got it recently, please share your experience.

I was told you can get it other than Wednesday, and it takes a whole day.

Really appreciate your help.

I am in the same situation..

any replies are greatly appreciated. I was expecting my GC soon and didnt apply for a AP renewal. I need to visit india in June 2nd week and am afraid that I dont have enough time to apply by mail. (Correct me if I am wrong).
yesterday I read online that a RFE is to be issued and may receive it in a week. How long does it take after I answer the query. I dont have paystubs for 6 months in the first half of 2002 but am employed now with the same employer. is it a problem ??

I went to Newark for the AP and got it after 7 gruelling hours. It was chilly this morning and there was rain too. After freezing for 2 hours, we finally got in.. and after redirecting us from 1 floor to other 5 times, they finally gave us the AP. I would say that even after that, it would be better to walk-in for an AP rather than apply by mail and wait forever.... just pick a day when it is not cool and it wont rain.. I was stupid to not check the weather and paid for it.
they asked me that reason and I told them my grandpa is ill.. I produced a fax from a doc in India.

just the I-485 receipt copy, passport, maybe EAD also..

just take them all... u never know what some idiot may ask.
