Hi ,

Today I had spoken with IIO at VSC and she says they don\'t even have my file there. All she could tell was my 485 is not approved and that I need to contact Newark dist office. She also gave Newark phone number(973-645-400). But when I called that number it says this number has been changed to 800 375 5283. BTW Newark is not my local office.

From her I came to know the date of birth for my A# is my husband\'s date of birth. Although previous IIO refused to say what it is.

My last post is given below.

Hi All,

May be you already might have heard what\'s going on with my case. If you haven\'t, here are the details.

EB3, India, PD June 95, RD june 98(no, not a typo), First FP Oct98.

We had an interview on 9/14/00 at local INS.

Because FP had expired(98 OCT, our case is transferred from CSC because of coastal move)they didn\'t give the stamp at the time of interview but took I-89 and sign for the actual card and FP electronically for FBI check.

On 11/24/00 only my husband got his card and he will go to the local INS for pp stamp as we were asked to go there once we get the card. It says resident since 9/19/00.

Yesterday I came to know by calling VSC that since there is some descepancy in my date of birth, my case is not approved yet. IIO said to wait for another 2 months.

Can my husband change his job?

I am not working and thus dependant. Since my case is not approved, will there be any RFE for his employment letter or pay stubs?

Even other wise on 12/19/00, it will be 3 months since he became permanent resident. So if he change his job do you think we are jeoprdizing anything?

One more thing: we really don\'t know when was his I485 approved. Is it the "resident since" date. The letter that he got along with the plastic card just says your application was approved without any specific date.

Please let me know what you think. Thank you all for your time.
