Has anyone heard from Indiana Department of Workforce Development recently about your application or someone else'for labor cerfitication? Indiana DWD has been sitting on the LC applications of April 2001 for almost a year now. Anybody on this boat want to share some experience, information or a thread of hope with us will be extremely appreciated!

Indiana LC

I filed in April of 2002. I started a thread about Indian LC status this May. I couldn't find the thread any more, so I started a new one yesterday. You are right, there won't be many reponses. That is why the old thread disappeared after a while. In my earlier thread, there was one case filed on April 12, 2001. I am wondering how that case is going. If that case hasn't gone through, I think there might be no progress in LC processing in IN DWD at all. I will try to keep this thread on top as much as I can to see whether we can stir something up or not.

My attorney tried to contact Gene,But No information was revelead,he was saying it could take months or years to process the remaining applications.

I lived in Indiana for 10 years, Indiana sucks, people are racist, full of KKKs, and hoosiers are lazy too. Specially stay away from Kokomo and Delco.

It seems only you and I are realy worrying about our LC in Indiana. Then the question is why doesn't Indiana DWD just process ours today :)

I am thinking of moving out of Indiana now. This is the fifth year of my H-1B. It is almost the last minute for me to make the change, because my new LC has to be filed by the end of the fifth year so that I can extend my H-1B beyond 6-year. Waiting for LC in Indiana will be endless, at least that is the message I got from my lawyer. I don't believe PERM will make it easier. It is another reason I want to move as soon as possible. PERM may make all states the same with LC processing (which helps people in Indiana), but it will definitely need more time than the faster states now. And we don't know when it will start, maybe another endless waiting.

Hello Friends
I am also worried with slow pace of IN SWA processing time-report.

I have a receipt date of Jule 2003. So I guess I have to wait for another 10 years. (endless..)

Why is IN processing the slowest of all. Its a dead state, but why is it so slow paced in processing cases. I dont understand this concept.
