Hi Eveyrone,
Couldn't find an appropriate section to post this in. I naturalized last year and surrendered my Indian passport. Part of the naturalization process, I changed my first name. I'm in the process of applying for a tourist visa to India and had a few questions when looking at the Visa form posted on the Indian Government's website. The form basically asks if I changed my name and to provide a surname , which did not change when I acquired US citizenship. The only thing that changed was my first name and last name remains the same. Anyone have any suggestions on what to put in the surname field (previous fisrt, last name or current first/last name)
Any guidance will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
