I am a green card holder and can apply for citizenship in a year. I got the GC based on asylum from Pakistan. I have been using a US Refugee Travel Document ever since I got asylum. My question is that is it possible for me to get a visa for India? On their website they claim that they issue visas on national passports. However, I met someone who said he traveled to India on an RTD a few years ago. But then again, he was not Pakistani but an Egyptian Christian. Anyone else had an experience like this? Anyone wanna shed some light? My best friends / neighbors are Indian and are moving back, and want me to come and visit them.
