India EB3 RD/ND 8/99...Recd FP Notice today 11/24/99

My PD is May\'94. I have no idea whymy FP got delayed so much. I used to call the INS office once a month and their standard
reply used to be that in Aug\'99 they received too many AOS applications from India so it is taking time. Everytime they used to say
they were processing Aug 1st cases. I asked them if anything was wrong with my paperwork and they said aeverything is fine and I
have to be patient. I got fed up and stopped calling and left it to let whatever happen. Then lastweek I got the notice. My guess is each officer in INS is dealing with the cases in a different way and unluckily some of Aug-Oct\'99 files went to someone who was either slow or was on vacation.
