For my wife's I765 application, immigration service has the form I- 765 receipt mixed up as an I-485 receipt number and not as I-765. My lawyer wrote a letter to the California Service so that they can correct the error.
Meanwhile, my I-765 has been approved and we have received no response from USCIS.
Will this be a problem? Any idea how I can correct this problem?
