I submitted my I-140 under EB-2 category 10 days ago, along with I-485. Today, I received them all back with notice that the fees of both forms are not correct!
Although both are correct. $580 for I-140 and $2775 for I-485 (2 adults x1070 and 1 daughter x 635). I used a US-based bank (Sun Trust) and spelled out the (U.S.Department of Homeland Security) on the check and I have enough money in the account.
I am wondering what was wrong with the checks and why they were rejected.
