Incorrect Education and Employment Details in the Approved PERM Labor

Hi,

My Education details, like, Year Degree Completed and the University Details are incorrect. The attorney made a mistake by entering my Bachelors Degree details for my Masters Degree Details. Also employement dates for different emplyers are off by few days.

Now the attorney says, he spoke to INS (USCIS) and it should not be a problem? He say INS asked them to fill the correct detaisl in another form and submit it with the original.

But, when he earlier emailed DOL, they told him to withdraw and file another labor??????

I am in a fix now??

Please advice!!!!!
 
The issue seems to be with the DOL not the INS when you are dealing with PERM, so it should not matter what INS says now. I don't have a sound advice on this one, it looks like your lawyer messed up big time. Later in the process, make sure that your lawyer shows you the PERM application before he/she submits it. I did mine, and found discrepancies that they didn't see... No one knows your life better than you. Sorry to hear, and good luck.

I asked the attorney to send the document before submitting? But, they filed without me seeing it?
The problem is, we have to do from the scratch again, as the first advertisement crossed 180 days. Again, it takes another 3 to 4 months.
 
Yeah, that's definitely a pain. We send screenshots to the clients for their review before submission of the case. You should request that your attorney does that next time (if there IS a next time!)
