Incorrect DOB

Hello guys,

My wife got H4 visa stamped at chennai. But date of birth is incorrect on the visa. Instead of 24/03/1982 it is 14/03/1982. It is for the first time that she got H4 visa. Will it be a problem? What should I do to correct it. Please suggest me.

Hello Guys,

My wife got passport back in one week.
When we found that the date of birth on visa was wrong then we sent back the passport with I 797 with an application form to US counslate through TT Service Hyderabad. We received the passport back in one week with correct information. I am posting this information so that if any one else run into this situation it would be helpful for them.

One more thing, what ever the informtion we give while taking the web appointment that will be printed on the visa. If you have any wrong inforamtion on web appointment and want to get it correct contact TT Service by sending an email they will give you the process to correct the information.
