Incorrect DOB on EAD Card

Hello,

I just received my EAD Card Today and the year of birth is Incorrect. It was my mistake, when I e-filed, I had put the incorrect year of birth and noticed it late. Now how to correct it...?

What are the steps to change it? Do I have to file it again ? Pay the fees again?

Asked a attorney, they say I should re - file it ASAP and I have to pay the fees, as it was my mistake.
Please help???

If it is your error, you will have to file I-765 and pay the fee again. I don't think you can use it with incorrect DOB.
 
ok, what are the steps, can I file it using efile. DO I have to send the original incorrect Card back to them.
Or do I use paper file and send a letter stating the incorrect DOB and request to issue a new one.
 
Thanks for the reply, one more question, so I efile it - I have to file it as new application instead or renewal?

Also I just got my H1 Approval / extended too. I had filed the EAD renewal just - in case scenario. Should I still do it for wait for the next renewal....
