Incorrect date in birth certificate.

My birth certificate has incorrect date (off by 1 day) whereas all my other documents including passport has the right date. What would be the correct way of handling this when applying for I-485 family based.

Alternatives:
1) Get 2 affidavit from parents indicating the correct date, School certificates, birth certificate as it is. (since the birth date is affected, will this work ?)

2) Get non-availability certificate from municipality. (will they give, since it is already registered. ?)

3) Go to court and have the records with municipality corrected.
(time factor. will INS accept any recent changes to the records)

Would appreciate any input from anyone who had been in similiar position.

I was in a similar situation. My birth certificate had my father's name spelled incorrectly.
I would suggest that you get two affidavits. Try to get the affidavits from someone other than your parents. I had got the affidavits from my parents, but the immigration officer reviewing the document for me told me that affidavits from someone other than the relatives has more value.
Also to make your case stronger, also send copies of your school certificate, if it has your DOB on it.

Non-availability certificate would not be available to you cause your birth has been registered.

You can go to court and have the records corrected, INS would accept the changes, but as you mentioned time factor is certainly there in this approach.
 
But is is the date itself which is incorrect

If the name is spelt incorrectly I can understand the affidavit doing the job. but what if the birth date itself is incorrect .Will the affidavit still do.

I am in a similar situation. I am inclined to try alternative 1 that you have listed. could you kindly let us know if you have any updates. Also in the affadavit from parents with the correct birthdate do we also have to mention that the birtdate in the birth certificate is wrong. All help on this would be appreciated.
