incorrect Alean number on GC

Hi
Recently I got aprove my GC and also I received my physical cards. week before I got welcome notice inwhich I noticed there was a error which the Alean number on welcome notice was not matched with Alean number on my I-485 Receipt. In GC also not matched.

Here is my complete details.

I had applied 2 (485 applications).

one is as a primary applicant (EB2) Direct benificeary and second one is thr my wife as a derivative (EB3). I had 2 Alean Numbers. My 485 aproved through my own employment which is EB2 (Jan'2006 priority date). On my GC Every thing looks good except A#. They assigned Alean number from my second application (thr my wife side employer in this I was derivative).

Is this going to be issue. Should I report this problem to USCIS or is this ok to keep it asis?

This happened to my wife GC also. She got GC thr derivative applicant whereas she got Alean number from her primary application.

After 4 days I got my welcome notice I got Email saying My other application which is thr my wife employer got denied.

My question is this Alean still valid since they cancel the I-485 applications associate to this case.

Second question is My wife she is working as a full time employee using her EAD. Since that application denied, does she need to stop work until she provide right GC copy to her employer or she can continue work with provide GC that we recevied recently?

Please let me know how should I go and proceed with this error.

Appriciate your help on this.

Thanks

When somebody has multiple A-numbers, they merge the multiple A-files into one, and then choose one of the numbers for the merged file. That's what happened to you.

You'll be fine and don't need to do anything, as long as the 13-character case number on the card matches the one on your EB2 I-485 receipt (i.e. the one your approval was based on). On the new design card, you can see case number on the back. There are three lines of letters and numbers and '<' characters; the case number is on the first line, to the right.

Second question is My wife she is working as a full time employee using her EAD. Since that application denied, does she need to stop work until she provide right GC copy to her employer or she can continue work with provide GC that we recevied recently?
She should show the GC to her employer.

Now the question is how did you get to have two A-numbers in the first place? When you filed your second I-485, did you write in the A# from the first one, or did you leave it blank?

incorrect Alean Number

Thanks Jack for qucik reply and your input.

Answer for you question is I applied both applications at same time. So I did not mention A# in second application I put just Blank.

Thanks

I forgot to mention in my previous reply that, I checked Card #(13 char) at back which is showing correct. Which matched with my EB2 I-485 receipt.
