does any of the gurus out there know..

if a Canadian PR incorporates in Canada and would like to do business with a US firm and stay in the US for that Canadian firm, would he/she require to get working VISA (H1/B1) in the US or how else that could happen?

I appreciate your help!

Thanks,
aRaj

A canadian PR can incorporate a firm in 2 ways

The default is the Province wide and the other option is to pay extra to do business in canada as a country (in other provinces).

In no way will you be allowed to do business in USA . In USA you have to have your own Business number which can come only if you reside in US. And just incorporating a firm in canada will not let you come Inside in USA .

You have to have a US GC /citizen to do it . You could do it as H1B , but that process is very complicated and could lead to immigration troubles .

There is no easy way to the best of my knowledge

Thanks bhand11683!

I have read it in on CIC site somwhere that a PR can reside out of country if he/she works for a Canadian business. I am going to talk to my immigration attorney in the US and find out more about it. I will post my experience.

Thanks for your response, though!
